Flight Lieutenant Hartwell

Officer Commanding

Flt Lt. Hartwell joined the ATC at 346 Squadron in 2012 where he stayed until 2017. Following a request to come back to the corps to help in a musical capacity, he joined 1156 Squadron as a Civilian Instructor before taking up a commission in 2021. Flt Lt. Hartwell joined 2344 Squadron in May of 2024 and took command in October that year. 

Alongside his Squadron Commanders position, Flt Lt. Hartwell is also the Music Officer, and Methods of Instruction Lead for Durham/Northumberland Wing.

Sgt Wilkinson

SQN SNCO

Sgt Wilkinson joined the ATC in 2013 at 1313 Squadron where he rose to the rank of CWO.

Sgt Wilkinson is responsible for Squadron drill, dress, and discipline- three areas he is passionate about.

APO Cavangh

SQN Adjutant

APO Cavanagh enjoyed time as a cadet before a technical career in the RAF.

As Squadron Adjutant, he is responsible for the administration of the Squadron and its’ records as well as being second in command.

CI Clark

SQN Training Officer

CI Clark joined as a cadet at 2344 Squadron in 2016 where he became training officer as a CWO in 2023.

Mr Clark is responsible for all training planning and preparation.
