CI Treleaven and Flt Lt Hartwell delivered the Bronze expedition section training framework to cadets at 2344 and 131 City of Newcastle Sqn RAF Air Cadets.
Saturday consisted of training at the Squadron HQ, covering pitching & striking camp, stoves & cooking, The Countryside Code, rucksack packing and route cards.
Sunday was all about map reading and navigation training in the Tyne Valley, the cadets were equipped with their full expedition kit to simulate what they’ll be experiencing on their upcoming Bronze DofE Expedition!
